The only way out is through is an installation of arches through a 70 ft corridor in between the curved archways of the basement ceiling at Sculpture Center. Directed by an alternate meaning to the word arch: “marked by a deliberate and often forced playfulness, irony, or impudence”, the installation is composed of a collection of arches—found, fabricated and manipulated objects that speak to this shape in the body, landscape, architecture and the everyday.
